Passage Making and Skills Course

Following customer feedback we are pleased to announce Endeavour Sailing’s new Passage Making and Skills Course which will take you around the Island of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

Itinerary (subject to change)

Sunday: meet at 1830 settle you onto the boat

Monday: Safety brief and then plan passage and pilotage to Arrecife

Tuesday: Plan passage and pilotage to La Graciosa

Wednesday: Plan passage and pilotage down the west side of Lanzarote to Marina Rubicon

Thursday: Sailing Skills such as sailing up to buoys, Man overboard under Sail etc. and close quarter marina handling.

Friday: Plan passage and pilotage to Puerto Calero Marina arriving back around 1700.

We expect to achieve approximately 150 nautical miles during this week.

There are many flights into Lanzarote are on a Sunday but some may land a little later than 18.30, if so please let me know and we can meet a little later. You may then stop on the boat on the Friday night after the course free of charge and if you need to stay on board on the Saturday night after the course we charge a nominal fee of £15 (be aware though that at weekends we may need access to the boats in the day).

Please note the Passage Making and Drills week starts on the Monday but we meet on the Sunday, the day before,  at 1830 and settle you onto the boat and give you a short safety brief so everyone is ready to start in the morning.
