Example Course Itinerary
The following itinerary is a guide to how your course will be run, but is subject to change depending on weather, wind and courses on board.
Sample Weekly Itinerary Endeavour Sailing
Sunday
Arrive at 18:30, and we will meet you with a welcoming drink in Cafe del Puerto, settle you on to the boat, meet your other crew members with the evening to relax and get to know each other.
Monday
Welcome, Safety Brief and then set sail - at Endeavour Sailing we believe the best way to learn to sail is to maximise time spent on the water, and after the safety brief you will set sail and familiarise your self with the boat under sail, and how to manoeuvre the boat.
Evening - Free in Puerto Calero
Tuesday
We start by showing you how to prepare the boat for setting sail, we want to ensure that you understand some basic boat maintenance such as daily engine checks.
Sailing Exercises including Man Overboard procedures. Anchoring techniques to allow you to anchor safely.
Evening - Free in Puerto Calero.
Wednesday
Plan a passage and pilotage plan then set sail for Marina Rubicon (weather dependent).
Evening - Free in Marina Rubicon, or another marina depending on weather.
Thursday
Plan a passage plan and pilotage plan and set sail. In the evening you will anchor in a little anchorage of Isle de Lobos, a small island between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura and have you meal on board at anchor. Once it is dark you will do your night sail.
Friday
Set Sail back to Puerto Calero.
Evening - Free.
